Hi, welcome to the Winamp skins section for Dreams of Anime. I'll be adding Winamp skins here from time to time so check back every so often. I do delete/change skins that I don't like something about or just plain wish I didn't make. So don't be surprised it you come on the site and skins that have been on here for as long as the site has been in existence are changed or gone. Just in case you can't get a skin to download you can go here and get them (most if not all of the skins on the site are there). You must have Winamp or XMMS installed to use the skins on this site. If you don't have Winamp and would like it you can go to the Winamp website and download a copy its free. In order for a skin to work you must place it in the skins folder within your Winamp directory. For example on my machine its on my C drive so its C: -> Program Files -> Winamp -> Skins. All the skins will be in zip files.

Linux: XMMS (X Multimedia System) users
XMMS 1.0.1 supports .wsz files but if you are using an older version of the program rename the extension and you'll be good to go. Example: .wsz to .zip. You are on your own with this player (it's old) and installing Winamp skins since this program is no longer supported. They have moved onto XMMX2 and I haven't the faintest idea if it supports Winamp skins (classic or modern).

Skinning Tools: For those of you who would like to try your hand at making Winamp skins without the use of one of those useless Winamp skin programs I'm sharing the Winamp skin template I found on the Winamp Website. Yes its what I use to make Winamp skins (I made the readme included into an html file to make it easier to find things in the file). Download the Skinner Atlas Template by Jellby _ (it can also be found on the Winamp Website). For the viscolor.txt I use Nifty Viscolor (this page wasn't there for awhile scared me so bad I depend on this page to make life easy when skinning.). In order to make certain parts of Winamp skins transparent the region.txt generator is very useful.

Terms of Service/Usage
As stated in most of the readme's don't claim the Winamp skins found here as your own, don't change them (as in altering the images), don't re-distribute without the permission of the skins author. O yeah the skins come as is and I hate to say this like this but download at your own risk. Dreams of Anime isn't responsible for anything that may or may not happen to your pc. That being said... enjoy downloading the Winamp skins on the following pages.
